Less hassle for hot liquids in short time
Good for hot beverage or soup when the power is out and don't want to trouble with camp stove; I use it on the patio shielded from wind. Seal the tabs tight to keep well and quell odor

3AAA battery carrier for Sam's Club led flashlights
Been replacing 3AAA carriers that blow out on a regular basis. These are a simple design without the weak screws and plunger top. They work well in Sam's Club Serengeti and Tasco led lights. They can modify for use in the older Element, just a tad short as is. Time will tell on how long the plastic stands the strain.

Economical static rope for general use
Good cheap rope for retrieving logs out of woods. Also used it for safety line working on roof and lifting tripod deer stand but I would not choose this rope for climbing or extended wear apps
Strong and low stretch, fair handle but sheath easy to pick or snag
