Everquest OA is a must try for every MMORPG fan!
Everquest on the PC was a huge undertaking for the console, but Sony managed to get all the controls and gameplay down into an experience that is a must! If you are a fan of EQ on the PC and think the console version couldn't possible offer any thing new or exciting you are very wrong. EQ:OA on the PS2 is basically what I would call "EQ mini", not to say it is any less of a game cause that is far from the truth. You get all the standards of a regular MMO, large world, questing, crating, chatting and all the great drops :). EQ:OA takes everything great about EQ and makes it more accesible and most of all FUN. The quests are more straight forward and more "adventure" oriented but actually more enjoyable than most EQ hunt and fetch quests. The two games compliment one another extremely weel "Sony i'm sure planned that", while one is more expansive the other is a quick fun fix. I would compare EQ:OA more towards Champions of Norrath but on a much larger scale, no other MMO out there is as fun, expansive, and rewarding as EQ:OA. The graphics actually top its PC counterpart on several occasions. While the resolution isn't as high the environments are rich in color and are more fleshed out, of course this is cause of the more linear structure they can focus on more specific areas, that's not to say the game is small, you can still go anywhere you want at anytime and do whatever you please. Quest, craft, hunt, go swimming and fight fish underwater, that's the great thing of EQ the world feels interactive and very exciting. I can't recommend this game enough, even today if you have played every MMO out there this game is worth buying and playing, it's just an experience that took the MMORPG genre into a more cohesive direction and it worked, it is very fun and accessible and chances are you will come back to it more than you will the regular EQ, if for nothing else because you can play it on your couch :). If you missed out on this game, you missed out. It's one of the genres finest creations.

    Immersive experience!
It's like the old electronic memory game Simon taken to the next level with rocking music, so very very addicting and immersive. Btw, this dual pack comes with the guitar pic also for those wondering. A true classic and gem!
