It works, was able to update the firmware and was able to convert it to an XL.

Handy light for electronic repair
My use, to work on my computers and other electronics.
Pros:
- The light is bright enough with a good enough bright spot. Using a normal alkaline battery.
- The magnet is handy to get light from different angles.
- The 90 degree head bend
- Awesome, along with the magnet it allows light from nearly any location to nearly any other location.
- The "bend" is a rotation of the head which is stiff at first but is better with use but still holds position.
- Has strobe lighting (which I don't use) and high and low lighting (low I don't use).
- In playing with the strobe lighting I just noticed a luminescent ring around the lens which can be seen for a short time when the light is turned off, cool.
- Appears waterproof (which I don't use).
Con:
- Minor to me, requires a half second hold on the switch to turn the light on. Muscle memory remembers tons of switches before this light that do not do that so I often don't turn it on the first time. But I see why they built it like that so I accept the delay. FYI to everyone else.
