Great tool for the job

It's too bad that a simple USB cable is so expensive, but it's a great tool for the job and I'd say a necessity for me. I love being able to simply plug in my BMV 700/702 into my phone to read readings and more importantly to set the settings. It's so much easier than the front control panel itself. I then connect this to my Raspberry Pi to upload the data so I can view my solar charge values remotely. Love it.
