Intermountain is the Gold Standard of Model Trains... Period!
Intermountain model trains never fail. They are simply the gold standard when it comes to rolling stock or locomotives. It's a shame that many of the other prominent model railroad equipment manufactures don't adopt Intermountain's level of quality and excellence. I'm very happy to spend the extra twenty, thirty dollars for something that I don't have to fuss over on my workbench just to get it up to my level of detail. Thanks!
