AWFUL purse- DON'T BUY
1 of 1 found this helpful VERY bad quality. I purchased two of these from two different sellers at two separate times, and both broke on me in less than 3 weeks. I carried wallet, phone, and keys in it- that's it. Zipper pulls came off, strap ends tore from their mounts, front flap split, and even a couple of rivets came off. I tried repairing as best I could, but I just had to chuck them in the end. If you plan on carrying more than 24 ounces in this purse, take a pass.

Very interesting
"Managing Traumatic Stress Through Art" contains 21 art exercises to help cope with emotion regulation and change ineffective emotional responses learned as a result of traumatic events. This book is being used in one of my therapy groups, so I bought my own copy. Technically this is not a real "art" book; each exercise has strict guidelines to follow, down to the size of paper to be used, so there is not much room for creativity. For the lay person these are very good exercises, but an artist may find it quite limiting and almost elementary in technique. This book seems to work best in a group setting, though the exercises can be done on an individual basis.
As someone who is visually oriented, I found this book to be beneficial through giving my emotional responses a physical presence on paper. Some of the exercises I performed on my own, modifying them into 3-dimensional projects for my own benefit.
All in all, I found it to be a helpful and insightful book.

Expensive, but definitely worth it
I like this stuff very much, so I scour the internet to find the cheapest price when I need it. It works excellently, but the conundrum I find myself in is that there's only applicators for 4 treatments, and when those are used, there's a huge amount of wax left. I hate to waste all that leftover wax. I've tried makeshift applicators ( i.e. cotton safety swabs) with some success, but nothing works like the applicators - and they don't sell them alone. But as for nose hair removal effectiveness, this can't be beat, and it is SO much more comfortable than tweezers, and longer-lasting that scissors or trimmers. The wax and accompanying towelettes smell pleasant, the wax melts relatively evenly in microwave when the directions are followed, and the whole process can be completed in about 5-10 minutes. Blackhead removal just didn't seem to work for me at all, even after following the instruction video on the Nad's website; the wax broke into pieces, stuck all over, etc. so I don't bother with that aspect. Overall, the product is great, just needs some tuning up.
