Works great!
Works awesome because it's brand new! I did have to expand the metal clip to make the gas door pop open more.

3 day hike.
4 of 4 found this helpful This fit perfectly in my backpack. Easy to set up and break down. Plenty of room for one person. I love that the top is all mesh so you can enjoy the night sky.

Hetch Hetchy, CA Hike
I just did a 20 mile over night hike at Hetch Hetchy, CA on Labor Day weekend. These poles looked great right out of the box. They are sturdy and have easily adjustable features. I took off the rubber shoes to expose the trekking stick hardened tips for my hike, made the adjustments for my height and off I went. The built in shock absorbers worked flawlessly on rough, rocky up hill and downhill terrain and saved me from falling on my butt on a few downhill lose dirt slips. The grips are comfortable and felt slightly to small but grew on me pretty quick. Overall these are a great pair of trekking poles.
