Cerwin Vega xls-250 generation 3 400 watt speakers
2 of 2 found this helpful i got the 14 xls-215 and they are running at 6 ohms through a 200 watt sony receiver. I found that running them flat works best. My Re-38 loved tone and effects. The top is pretty nice. A little scratchy. Same basic tweeter as the 38 with a lens for more dispersion. As with most soft dome it rolls off smoothly about 10k. The Mid range is also surrounded by a lens and rolls off around 5k. The tweeter and mid range drivers mix well. The base speakers are the standard Cerwinsky Pink Monsters. The aren't broken in yet - stay tuned. I will add a bunch of insulation. i can hear the cabinets. Finish is strong and the see through grills are cool.
