Can still smell gas after filling!
1 of 4 found this helpful I purchased this can so i could store gasoline in my garage without smelling gas. After filling it up at the filling station, i put in on the floor in the back of the car. I had to open my windows because the gas fumes were so strong. I thought this can would seal tight enough so i would not smell gas fumes coming from the can. Other than that, this is a great can and very well manufactured. I would have given it five stars if it we were not for the smell of gas in my car after filling at the gas station. No, I was very careful to not let ANY gas from the nozzle at the station, sprinkle on the can. The top of the can was totally dry after filling.

Great buy
Took quite a few weeks to get here but brand new in factory sealed. Worked like new which it was. Very satisfied but as I said, took quite a while to get here.
