This is a tribute to the greatest music by the greatest musician
If it is Andre and his orchestra -it is fantastic-the obvious happiness and relaxed faces show the joy they have in playing together and working with all of their obvious smooth working relationship with their boss in there many years together is one of the best parts of their performances, His talent and leadership come across as a man willing to share the stage without denying them of their turn to be the star with even the smallest performer to most famous talent. His laughs and pride in his orchestra show a genuine cohesion and mutual respect few musicians have . I especially love "Bolero", "Funiculi, Funicula" (which I remembered loving since I 1st heard Salvadore Baccaloni, -sorry about the spelling, Nabucco, and "La Traviata" and "Aida" all of which I had heard all my life had become stale and boring but Andre gave them a new life. The cd was very calming and inviting. I plan to introduce others esp the younger generations to REAL music vs what they are familiar with.

He is a amazingly funny supertalented unique individual who has shown himself to be fantasticly funny and talented throughout the years in both music and comedy. I am 77 yrs old and remembering listening to him on both TV and records now cds and dvds with my own grandkids. My father would put any show he was on and drag all 11 of us to sit and listen as we glumly sat wanting to be playing but bit by bit as we really listened , became ridiculously amused and even out loud. His 'phonetic alphabet" and Mozart were yrs long laughter. I recently surprised by granddaughter with her own copy of "[arrts one and 2" she called me laughing and grateful and told me she found a poster of him and it was hanging on her wall-she is 22 not what you usually find on a young person's wall.

Radio City Music Hall, The Return to Greatness
The performances wer all 1st class, the performers moved smoothly from one act to the next, everyone seemed to enjoy each other's act, the orchestra really gave an impression of enjoying and celebrating each other's skill and I never heard a sour note. The clowning around really seemed spontaneous and watching the audience was a bonus. I esp like watching the kids and babies participating and dancing. My only concern was watching everyone trying to climb the stairs esp the ladies with the long dresses. The dresses were gorgeous and I was glad to see the group attempt to help each other navigate the stairs-I thought maybe a ramp would be safer but my biggest joy was watching how they all showed mutual respect for their group and for Andre. His facial expressions were so fascinating and appropriate. The music itself was fantastic and a great choice. Best of all I got to see the theater that I had been lucky enough to attend several times and was missing. The stage was used to maximum benefit and I will play it over and over.
