We shall hear this course; we shall never surrender.
This is a somewhat entertaining, anecdotal narrative of Churchill's life by a man who holds a professorship in the history of freedom. The approach is to highlight how Churchill exemplifies the leader who is guided by principles, and the chief principle is that liberty should increase. The whole approach is forced but Churchill is sufficiently interesting to save the listener from the professor. To his credit, the professor tells a good story and is easy to listen to.

Deny that witches exist and ye shall burn with them.
3 of 4 found this helpful The Hammer of the Witches (Malleus Maleficarum) is a classic source text for the study of late medieval European society and the psychological foundations of misogyny from the late fifteenth century to the end of witch trials in the eighteenth century. The Malleus Maleficarum was published around 1484 as an attempt to prove that witches exist, that they work with the Devil and they do heinous acts against society and individuals by the permission of God as a test to the faithful and a punishment of sinners. This was the handbook of inquisitors and judges in the investigation and trial of witches for two centuries after its publication. I bought this book after I heard about it in a lecture on European civilization by Teofilo Ruiz, and I was confident about its quality because it is a Dover Reprint, an old classic translation in paperback with an excellent binding and all the text from the classic Montague Summers edition. There is nothing to dislike about the edition; there is much to dislike in the text of such a screed against women.

Expired Film a Real Gamble
3 of 4 found this helpful Polaroid film can last a long time beyond expiration date, but one cannot know the conditions under which it was stored. This film was 7 years past date and did not give any image. The battery worked but the film had dried out. One needs to be aware of this possibility whenever purchasing expired film.
