Perfect for 2019 iMac 5K models.

Good value replacement remote
Seems to be a good value replacement of the original Holden remote. I didn’t use the key blank (just removed my old one and installed it the new remote). I was able to program it with the Tech 2 scan tool I own so also saving me money having to buy the MAP remote programmer.

Fantastic audio... but very poor range
2 of 2 found this helpful I've only have these for a few days but when compared to other generations of Astro headsets, the range of these is quiet poor (only half of previous generation). About 10-12 feet line-of-sight from the base station is all you're going to get before drop outs start to occur. These operate on the 5.8GHz band, not the 2.4GHz band (most likely in an attempt to reduce possible interference in the already crowded 2.4GHz band). As a result, I suspect this is a reason as to the reduction in range.
The build quality seems really solid and the audio is great (audio can be finely adjusted using the Astro Command Center to suit personal preferences). It's just a shame about the range. Hopefully Astro may be able to increase the range with a future firmware upgrade but until such time, I'd recommend holding off purchasing the A50's.
Oh, and another slight annoyance... If this is Astro's flagship headset, the A50 Mod Kit should be standard fitment and not sold separately. No need to sting the customer extra $$$ for the upgrade given the already premium price of the A50 headset.
