Its the actual design of the product not good
the product is supposed to be a "docking" station, in reality its a keyboard with limited mobility. Its called a docking station because it has a second battery which is okay except the only way to charge it is to remove the tablet, so you can't charge while using it. The other thing is there are NO PORTS whatsoever on the keyboard. The worst part which is important to me, the keyboard hinge does not allow flexibility its about a 45 degree angle. So unless you are standing up to use the keyboard its very difficult to use the keyboard and still see the screen. I have to tip the whole computer backwards, so I can see the screen and type with the keyboard at an angle. I bought a logic tec keyboard that connects with Bluetooth. which is better, but will only hold the tablet in portrait mode.
I think Dell really goofed upon this design and its misleading that its a dock, they also make a very lightweight keyboard that reviews said were flimsy and fell off users laps, so I did not buy it.
I would probably have done better to buy a 11" or 12" hybrid laptop that folds all the way back (I already have one) but thought this would be an even lighter option. Maybe a surface would be a better option.
Again, one of my major complaints is the lack of any ports on the keyboard. And tablet does not always seem to recognize the keyboard when it is installed. The logictech it paired immediately, so I don't think its the tablet.
