Pump for Maytag Neptune washer
Works very well, and it is in an accessible spot in the MAH5500BWW. I recommend always trying to repair this machine. Nothing out there comes close- except perhaps Speed Queen.

The quality is not as good as the original
I ordered this because the membrane around the wire had split where it connects to the body of my vacuum. The replacement while working and fitting correctly is not of the same quality as the original. If you have a small split in your hose I recommend gluing the wiring together with an epoxy to repair it. I have saved my original and repaired it. While this replacement does work, the membrane around the coil is much thinner it will not last as long as the original. I have a Shark NV22W. (It is lavender in color.) The design of the Shark puts pressure on the hose as it turns to connect to the body, and the new membrane is already stretched out and stressed at that point. I have only used it twice since ordering it. ( I have a vacuum for each floor of my home and have used others.) If your original is not able to be repaired, then this is a good option, however it will need reinforcement where it turns. I recommend this as a last resort. On the positive side, it is less expensive than replacing your vacuum.
