The recorder I bought works fine in all modes
The Toshiba recorder did not work at first but I used a Maxwell DVD lens cleaner and was able to check all functions as OK. Record DVD-RW disks. Play recorded DVDs and format DVD-RWs
Also edit of disk content for commercials works well. I have used this recorder type since 2005 and now can replace the one that has stopped working after many years.
