A Well Done Masterpiece
4 of 4 found this helpful I have never seen an anime quite like this one. It is filled with many emotions such as happiness, sadness, love , despair, you name it. It runs like a real movie, no magical beings in this one, excluding the fireflies of course. The struggle of a boy and his sister is the main topic of this movie which is a powerful one I'd say because they have to survive on their own. The big brother who is just a child himself has to take the role of an adult and take care of his sister. The animation is beautiful and eye catching. You won't want to miss a minute of this movie. It sends a powerful message about our own lives and to appreciate what we have. Ebert (movie critic) gave this movie two thumbs up and said that it is "the greatest war movie ever made". I agree that this movie is not only appealing but shows the reality that people face. This is really a must have. The main menu is really nice and the music fits the mood of what you are about to watch. This movie does show violence here and there but it is necessary for the topic at hand since it is war time. I really dont have anything to say about it that I didn't like. What was happening in the movie all the way till the end was to be expected. You will see what I mean.

Very Unique OVA
1 of 1 found this helpful Angel Sanctuary differs from all the rest. The angels are the bad ones and the demons are good!!! It is up to one rebel angel who had reincarnated herself in a boys body who wants justice. The boy himself has many problems of his own on top of having an angel of the past inside of him. This story gets straight to the point. Setsuna problems get worse and worse which makes the story soo dramatic. The music is good. It is very well done in Japanese language. This anime definitely did its job for just a 3 episode show. It leaves you wanting more. Once you see all three episodes you will want more because it was getting more and more interesting every episode. The graphics were great as well. This is a must see. There is only one thing that made it weird but yet falls into the category of unique among all anime. Some of the characters were cross dressers so that got a bit confusing at first, it did have its funny momments. But it doesnt take away from the great story line of angels against demons. Very awesome!!!!

Captivating with Beautiful visuals
For those who are wondering what princess tutu is like, this anime actually has alot of grim momments.Mostly it has to do with the characters determination in this story.Each episode has a kewl opening with a storybook teller setting up what will the episode u are about to watch will be about. There is alot of dancing but its really nice..I think I just got annoyed by princess tutu's entrance..its the same all the time. This anime is mainly about a girl with an identity crisis and only wants to win the heart of the one she loves. But there are lots of obstacles in her way such as a rival for her love and if she has the power within her to help the prince whom she loves so much. This anime packs in comedy, action, drama, romance, all in one sweet package. Definintely recommend.
