Pleasantly surprised and satisfied. Better than I'd hoped for.
4 of 5 found this helpful There are 3 distinct varieties of product called Cinnamon, and Ceylon is the only TRUE cinnamon. The others are "cousins" and each has a distinctive flavor and each is different.
The real test as I learned it long ago, is that Ceylon cinnamon has a sweeter, smoother and mellow flavor, it is pleasant to the tongue, and leaves a pleasant after taste that is sensual and inviting. It has an excellent flavor when mixed with honey that is very calming and makes a great pre-bedtime drink when mixed with milk. The Sri Lankan and Saigon varieties are different and are more spicy, even hot to the taste and they are known as Cassia, not true cinnamon. Ceylon Cinnamon is one of the oldest known spices and it was part of the wedding preparation of a bride in the ancient middle east. A bride would permeate herself in perfumes and spices for weeks before her betrothal and this cinnamon was very much a part of that preparation for a honeymoon full of passion. This fine Cinnamon meets and exceeds my expectations as I have been sold Cassia before to my dismay. Not the same at all. The flavor is smooth, no impurities, no bitterness and no doubt that this is a good buy. I am very pleased with my purchase and I will be back for more. This is a great price for the quantity and everything I have come to expect from a fine cinnamon.

a great fix for genie without hdmi input
1 of 1 found this helpful If you have the genie dvr system, but your tv's hdmi inputs don't work (ours was struck by lightning and burned both inputs) this is the answer. Rather than buy another tv, we used this cable to connect the genie output to the rca composite inputs (red, yellow, white) and were able to continue using the tv. The definition is fine and picture clarity is more than adequate, a great fix. $5.00 instead of $500.00 very economical.
