I’m recommending it for its value with some machine setting information
Janome 100dks
Janome closed walking foot £50.
This ones £10!
But it took some setting up and my machine did make a straining noise.
The instructions with it are inadequate.
I spent hours on it. Lots of stitches on the spot and a straining motor.
But this is what I found:
Reduce your pressure on the foot to its minimum level. If you can’t change it on your machine then don’t buy it.
Use a piece of paper as you start your project and then tear it off.
Go slowly. Seriously slowly. Hear your motor and then increase the speed to no more than medium and stop when you hear the motor strain.
Longer stitch length may be required as there’s a lot of resistance to the fabric movement which meant I had to go on a 5mm stitch length to get a 3mm one.
That all said. I couldn’t afford £50 so at £10 I’m still glad I bought it.
It does make a massive difference to slippery fabrics.
I make lingerie and it solved 80% of the slipping issue.
So do buy it. It’s great for the money.
But it’s not as good as proper one for your machine.
But if you make changes to the machines settings it will work just as well.

Excellent veggie chopper. Buy it!
I don’t write reviews much. But this is so brilliant I just had to. I struggle to chop due to wrist arthritis. This chops salads up in seconds. The blades are so sharp. They are all neatly kept in the appliance via a drawer at the front. What a great design.
I chopped up red cabbage onion and garlic in seconds today which which was one dish. Then chopped up ingredients for salsa in a few seconds more. It just rinses under the tap.
I’m in love with it!
Buy one immediately.
