    Streamlight Protac 1L-1AA 350 Lumen LED Black Flashlight & Batteries - 88061
    May 05, 2018
THE best in the ProTac series
If you want a Streamlight for your every day carry but are having a tough time weighing the pros and cons of other models, let me alleviate you of the stressful decision making. I have this model, the 1L-1AA, AND the 500 lumen 2L-X with the proprietary USB Streamlight battery. The 1L-1AA is just as bright, has the same throw distance and lasts almost just as long using a CR123 battery. The 2L-X is long, HEAVY, and is otherwise the same flashlight. The biggest benefit to that model is the proprietary battery. That's about it. Oh, also, the 2L-X clip is absolutely useless. It's terrible. It makes it an absolute no-go for every day carry for that purpose alone. The 1L -1AA is incredibly slim, incredibly lightweight, it holds a long charge, and it is just jam-packed full of features. The button has a firm click and it is extremely durable and rugged. I can easily say it the best flashlight I've ever owned, bar none. It beats Surefire lights for sure. With CR123 batteries you get the full 350 lumens. It dulls out over time. With AA batteries, you get 150 lumens. It's clearly not as bright, but as the battery dies it does put out a bigger charge. At the crest of the AA batteries' life it looks to be about 350 lumens. The Streamlight ten tap programming is a fun add-on but the default mode is the best in my opinion. One click is full brightness, two is strobe, and three is half brightness. The different ten tap programs just change how many clicks access the different modes. In review, the 1L-1AA is considerably cheap. It's small yet big enough to be handheld, it's rugged, it's got a good charge, its BRIGHT and it easily beats out its bigger brothers. There are reviewers on YouTube that swear by the next-step-up, the 2L-X, because they haven't used the 1L-1AA. if they did, I guarantee that they would also recommend this model instead. This is the EDC light you want. Trust me.
MAGPUL OFFSET Light/Optic MOUNT M-LOK ALUMINUM MAG604 *FAST SHIP*!!

    Expensive for what you're getting
I installed this on my Kel-tec sub 2000 gen 2. It took far longer than I was expecting. The bolts provided with the package are covered in a compound, almost like a paint, so you have to really work the bolts in to the proprietary t-nut just to break it in. It took me far, far longer to install this than I thought it would. That being said, I am a complete m-lok newbie. This angled mount works PERFECTLY on a sub 2k. If you have a quick detach Optic or mount for it, you can collapse the stock without any interference. Considering it's 30 dollars for what is essentially half a pound of fancy metal I really don't want to recommend it, but if you are looking for the perfect accessory for your sub 2k this is pretty much the way to go in my book since it sits so close to the barrel.

Angled Foregrip Hand Guard Front Grip for Picatinny Rail - black

    Great for the price
I've bought a Magpul brand AFG in the past and while I was impressed with it, I didn't want to pay 30+ dollars for essentially what is a big chunk of fancy plastic again. I opted for this because of the positive reviews regarding it. I have to say, side by side with the Magpul it is identical in every way and it's a third of the price. I am pretty sure it's made more for airsoft and paintball guns, but it works perfectly on my gen 2 sub 2000 picatinny rail. If the want or need arises to buy another AFG, I'll definitely be getting another one of these. You just can't beat the price. I strongly recommend this device even if the brand is nonexistent. The build quality is just as good as the real deal.
