Portable 78s!
This is great. I can't play my 78s in the car, but I can pop in a CD. Especially nice on a road trip! I just drove about 1,000 miles this week going to visit my kids one state over and I loved having this CD on the trip.

Good bargain
This is the least expensive Mac one can buy, yet it performs as well as any other. It is very fast. This particular model is from 2007 but runs OS X Lion so it's basically indistinguishable from a new one at the Apple store that would cost three times as much. My only disappointment is with the OS itself--I liked Leopard better. I'm sorry to see Front Row go, especially since I bought this for my entertainment center. I hate the obnoxious backwards scrolling Apple decided I wanted and the graphics in Lion are poor--all the color is gone and the icons are hard to see. But hey, it's Apple. Customer input is irrelevant. Resistance is futile. We will consume.
