The Only Jimi Hendrix box set with all the original studio album tracks. and more.
This is a great little box set released in 1993 that includes nicely packaged re-issues of The Experience's first 3 albums, plus the "best of", single CD collection shown on the listing photo. Each of the CDs include a beautiful little booklet dedicated to each album release with Experience history, detailed track info including a lot of background on each song, studio notes, and applicable quotes from Jimi and others sprinkled throughout. The "best of" CD is a little redundant, since all of those songs are already ON the first 3 albums, except for the last two tracks; the unforgettable "Star Spangled Banner" from the Woodstock concert, and "Wild Thing" from Jimi's American (re-) debut at the Monterey Pop Festival. I don't know that you could ever really make a perfect, single CD collection of Jimi's greatest songs, but this fourth CD comes close. Had I a say in this box set's original release, I think including something like the "Concerts" CD, produced by Alan Douglas, containing a sort of "best of" concert would have been a better idea, but hey, any Hendrix is good by me! If you don't have any Hendrix in your music collection, or if you only have a little, grab this while you can, there's a lot of amazing music and rock history in this comprehensive little box set.

Lots of great older material here
This is much better than I thought. 2 CDs of material from 1947 to 1951. The production quality is very good, and each CD has a wealth of music on it - 44 songs total. If you prefer the later 70's style of Muddy, you might not care for this, but if you want to hear some fantastic acoustic work from the early years, this is a wonderful CD to grab onto. For the money, it is well worth your Muddy dollar.

Great Daily Devotional with a Unique Scientific Approach
Found this by chance and have really been glad I did. This is a well-researched daily devotional for the Christian believer who not only wants to be in God's word on a regular basis, but also desires to know more about God's amazing creation; the universe, the cosmos, the earth, the animals, and man himself.
Each devotional is a quick read, and although some of the devotionals tackle heavy topics, they are always done in an easily understandable way for the less-than-scientific reader such as me. They are good enough that I usually read two a day. Nicely bound, creatively designed with lots of photos, and even with a good sense of humor woven throughout.
Great for yourself, or as I have done, as a gift for others. Highly recommended for any age, from 10 to 110.
