Great model of an interesting subject

Not cheap but a well engineered and accurate model
The latest version of the Bachmann Class 40 has improved pickups and captures well the look of these rugged diesel locomotives. The item arrived in perfect condition and ran well straight out of the box; it comes with various accessories and a comprehensive information and instruction booklet

Over fifty years old and still running
1 of 1 found this helpful A testament to old school rugged engineering - whilst not on a par with today's superdetail model, it has the right proportions and a good solid feel to it - unsurprising as the body is diecast metal. What's more parts and repair skills are out there to keep it going long after modern models have been retired to the cabinet.
