Graham crabb (vocalist with the incomparable 'pop will eat itself', a band who pretty much defined how forward thinking music can be, goes solo on this ambient gem. There is a sea "theme" in the titles, & every song has a soothing gentle electronic purr. An album not unlike a cross between aphex twin's "selected ambient works vol one" & F.S.OL. so if you like any of the above, this rekid is for you!! I'm kinda fussy when it comes to ambient, & although a grebo through & through, I listened with no preconceptions & absolutely loved it. 2nd time on today & I've been away fer 8 hours in between! Can see this being tanned. Well in graham! Making ambient music that isn't boring is a very different thing to do. On here he succeeded will aplomb! 8/10. (The only 10 I've ever given is fer the "blade Runner" soundtrack!) A work that will not date. & I only wished he'd made more of them! Cheers kiddies!

Hard to beat.
A timeless classic. Dark, dubby brilliance.
Try listening to it whilst having the news on, muted, for an apocalyptic experience!
Or jus listen to it loud & ingratiate yersen w/ yer neighbours!

Dark & lovely.
Tom king's batman has had his ups & downs. This is an up. I believe there's a second printing due. I strongly recommend you try it! Reading the batman comics that go before it would be an advantage. (#24 up) good hunting.
