Interesting, not life-changing
I wanted to see what it might be like to do CAD with a pen tablet, as well as to do markup now that Windows has so much more support for these things.
It's okay. It's certainly more natural to use a pen than a mouse. But having the locations on the tablet map to the locations on the screen (rather than movement mapping to movement, like with a mouse) takes some definite getting used to. I also am learning that I don't put a pen straight down. That monkey motion makes selecting things kind of tricky.
The hard plastic nibs that come with this model slide around too easily. I got a variety pack and found the rubber nibs are way better.
Sketching things in either the screen sketch app or OneNote is way better.
