Brilliant travel camera with plenty for the enthusiast
This camera is very simple to use, but it has all the bells and whistles. You can use it as a point and shoot or if you are more adventurous you can use all manual controls to tweak more from your photos. The 24-120mm zoom is very handy and the f1.8-2.8 maximum aperture gives great performance in low light.
The menus are easy to navigate and you can build your own user menus for the convenience of choices you use often. The camera is small and light but has a good grip. The evf is also a little on the small side, but that is ok, because most times with this camera you will use the LCD screen. However, the evf works well when you need it, mostly when in bright sunlight.
Image quality is what you would expect from a 1 inch sensor - very good either in jpeg or raw format. It cannot compete with my Sony A7R mk 2 for image quality but thhe two cameras have different functions. This camera is a brilliant choice for travel or for times when carrying a large camera is not convenient or not possible.
It will serve me well in such a role.
