Excellent piece of kit overall
2 of 2 found this helpful Fairly straightforward to set up and use for all the basic functions but keep the manual to hand to refer to for the more complicated tasks - but these are reasonably easy following the manual.
Remote takes a little getting use to but is ok after some use.
The ability to record programmes to DVD from the HDD is great - especially the high speed dub mode (High speed dub can't be used on the highest quality setting).
Overall, I would recommend this machine.

Long enough to go through a thick transom and seal properly
Couldn't find a drain plug long enough to go all the way through the transom until I found this one made by Plastimo. As it goes all the way through, it can be trimmed to length then sealed around to minimise the chance of water getting between the fiberglass and into the plywood.
Spare bungs are also available in case you lose one.

Simple design that works well.
Excellent, well made product that is a simple design that works well. Good choice of sizes that were exact and fitted well. Gauze wasn't too dense but seems to do the job adequately.
Recommended product.
