Unexpected benefits in extending S4 phone life
My Galaxy S4 has a spiderweb crack in the top right, with one main spoke extending straight down to the bottom left corner. A screen replacement costs as much as a second-hand unit, so I chose the LifeProof as a possible solution. Very happy that I did. Although I didn't need the waterproof security, I note that small beads of moisture formed at 2 points along the screen cracks on the inside of the case - proof that water had got in to my phone before the case was used - I should not have waited so long to make the decision to buy this case! I have no muffled audio whatsoever as reported by some users elsewhere. No noticeable effect on phone operation whatsoever. Case is very robust and easy to clean - gradually wiping away all moisture ingress with trouble-free continual use. Port covers are good - am concerned that the rubber audio jack is the most fragile component of this case. The usb port is tight - some plastic needed to be trimmed from the adaptors of some thicker usb cable jacks for a secure and super-snug fit. Side bevels intrude on the working face of the phone only marginally - only a problem for some touch-face virtual keyboards with small buttons at the edges of the screen. Other than that I feel that I have a new, indestructible phone now :)

So this is what a full nights sleep is all about
1 of 1 found this helpful The pillows were softer and lighter than I expected, the perforations being surprisingly large compared to the impressions I had from the online images. "Uh-oh" was my first impression. However, the perforations make for a pretty robust but well-ventilated surface and I appreciate the contouring that enables me to fine-tune my head positioning for a comfortable and relaxing sleep. In the first week of use I have slept really well and wake fully rested. Usually I find it difficult to drop off to sleep with my usual pillows (duck down, solid latex memory, etc - I had 4 to test every night to find the right combination on a day-to-day basis) but have had no problems with these two. Falling and staying asleep have previously been a real struggle for me, but I am falling faster and resting longer with these 2-zones from Giselle.

Reverse the irritating T440p design fault from Lenovo
ALPS unit (not Synaptic), but I didn't have any of the hardware driver issues as reported elsewhere for upgrading the stock T440p touchpad unit. Huge improvement on the previous trouchpad - physical buttons robust and responsive, no touchy mistakes now - very happy overall. Windows 10 with all latest drivers etc.
