First eye drop in years to help with severe Sjogren's Syndrome dryness. Appears to use same main ingredient as MIEBO - (perfluorohexyloctane ophthalmic solution)

Everyone, when down, wants the love and support of family
Other than "Avalon", few movies focus on the unique interpersonal relationships between immigrants and their first gen children. It is oddly, a story little told, maybe out of embarrassment or shame in exposing "family secrets". Nevertheless, it is a huge dynamic, every day, as more people emigrate here, and as their children move past their parents as "real Americans."
Michael Keaton is Bob Jones, born Bobby Ivanovich, the son of an Ukrainian immigrant who became a junk recycler. When he was able, after college, Bobby anglicized (technically, it should have been Johnson), his family name and moved to California.
Now, he gets a terminal diagnosis, while his wife is 5-6 months pregnant.
Completely unglued and free falling, he eventually decides to see an Asian non-traditional healer -against everything he believes - but can't accept the his methods.
In the meantime, he tries to reconcile and tell his family his situation, but the barriers are still too much to overcome. The walls he created, are far too tall, far, far too deep to come down easily.
Only when the end appears suddenly, after a period of hope, does Bob drop his walls, and come clean.
Bring a case of tissues.
There are two moments that still affect me whenever I think of this movie.
One, the conversation on the swing set between Bobby and his brother, which provides a rarely seen insight between the two competing views of immigrant children on their parent's place in society and the social hierarchy.
Two, the circus - one of the best moments in any film.
Give it a chance, though some might see some of it as maudlin. It combines the immigrant family experience with family medical crisis, and a bit of existentialism. Well worth it.

First drops that gave more than just a momentary relief, without some burning when taken. Same main ingredient as Refresh Celluvisc (Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium), but at 0.5% vs 1.00% concentration, which along withe the flaxseed oil, seems more tolerable with severe dry eyes, like Sjogren's Syndrome. After trying every other preservative free drops, after 7 years, this is first that has actually been noticeably relieving.
