DuroMax XP4850EH Hybrid Portable Dual Fuel Propane / Gas Camping RV Generator

Highly impressed!

I was skeptical about this brand and all the other “inexpensive” ones out there. I always wanted a Honda or a Yamaha, but I just couldn’t spend that much money for something I’ll rarely use. I wanted a propane generator and there are very few (if any) out there at this price ($299). This thing runs 2 refrigerators, a small deep freezer, and several fans without difficulty. I also use it to power my well but I always run it by itself. The storage life of propane is far superior to gas, and it’s nice to not have to worry about knocking over gas cans and spilling fuel everywhere. I was less than impressed with the instruction manual. Apparently, they changed several things (additional propane regulator, key start,etc) on this model and never updated the instruction manual. With that said, I feel the changes they made were proactive and make this generator even better and easier to operate. I think this proves that this company is always trying to improve their product and their customers satisfaction. This generator has far exceeded my expectations. I figure you get what you pay for, but this generator is the exception to the rule and an incredible value.

Beast

This thing is a beast! It didn’t even struggle with 18” long and 22” around green logs. It’ll chew up and spit out anything you throw at it. Easy to assemble and very high quality! Engine started 1st pull. It comes with 5 gallons hydraulic fluid but holds 6.5; however, I started with 4 gallons and ran it for awhile then added the last gallon and It’s showing perfect on the dipstick. I bought the the log cradle and installed it one the side with the engine and I have to say I’m really glad I did cause it makes it so much easier. I also bought the 4 way wedge, but I haven’t used it yet.

Great camera at a great price

I’ve tried numerous cameras. You can definitely buy better, but not at this price point.
