Awesome piece of reloading equipment!

I don't care to prime on press, and this tool's designer considered that when laying out this press. Leaving the priming pieces off, allows full unhindered access to the front of the press.
I've recorded this press in action for several loading sessions, and have observed no slop/slack/tilt from the turret while performing all functions of reloading cycles.
I also like that Lee shell-holders fit a little loose and provide a little bit of adjustment just like a Forster Co-Ax press does. That is an added bonus.
Overall, very well crafted heavy cast iron tool. I expect this to be my last press in this game of life, and that it shall load 10's of thousands of rounds over the next couple decades.

Awesome time tested tool!
This design has been proven over the years, and remains a top-tier powder dropper today!
The adjustments are straight forward, and once dialed in, confirmed, then locked in, remain a constant.
This will work for all reloading needs, but I use it for rifle only. For rifle, it is best to understand and prepare as a narrow and deep chamber to achieve constant and repeatable drops where large volume is used. If used in handgun reloading, it is preferred to be a wide and shallow chamber. If you acquire without the manual, it can be downloaded directly from Lyman, as can spare parts.

Works, but not as advertised
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought the Hornady brass cleaner to go with this. It works, but not as advertised. It takes way too many cycles to clean the brass, but it does clean the inside fairly well, and just a quick twist with a primer pocket tool, x 1,000 to knock the last bit of crude out.
