All is bad that ends bad!
1 of 1 found this helpful Mounted one of the two received belts on our Eureka vacuum cleaner. It lasted less than an hour of vacuuming before the belt broke apart. An inspection of the cross-section of the fractured belt showed no reinforcing threads (like, monofilament nylon or polyester, etc.); just a black, somewhat brittle, rubber compound. My feeling is that an inferior, non-elastic, rubber compound was used to manufacture these replacement belts, or they have been sitting a long time in the warehouse and have aged to the point of being embrittled.
As for the second belt in this auction item, it probably isn't worth the time taken for belt replacement knowing that it's partner only lasted less than an hour of use.

Works just as well as the same spec, more expensive auction variants..
