RCA Universal Remote 3 Device Large Numbers Easy to Use NEW

May have to reload batteries several times before it powers up....

The RCA remote RCR503BZ seemed totally dead despite new bateries. Someone else mentioned problems with loading the batteries, so I tried removing and reloading the batteries several times-- suddenly it came to life! Note that in programming it you apparently must choose the proper class of device for the codes to work. I have a TV-DVD player. Selecting "TV" before entering the brand code worked great; selecting DVD-VCR and the exact same brand code did not work.
