Near-perfect solution for hard-to-find part.
My bike is a 1983 Honda VT500FT Ascot. The original rear signal stalk part number does not seem to be available. My bike is not listed in the compatibility chart, but photo seemed to show a near-perfect match for the original. Good news and bad news. The stud is just a bit longer, making it easier to get the nut on with a few extra threads exposed. However, the outside diameter of the threads is just a tiny bit larger, and you'll likely have to enlarge the holes in the frame just a little. I used a round file; could use a Dremel with a little sanding/filing drum. Not a big deal. This was a GREAT find after a number of dead ends and returned parts.
