Much better than stock shifter
1 of 1 found this helpful I like this shifter much better than the factory piece. It's arm is one piece and not welded from three pieces like the stock shifter, It's lighter than stock, and the piece on the end doesn't have rubber on it, so it won't make a black spot on top of your shoe. Two things to be aware of though: 1. This shifter is shaped a little different that the stock one. There's more room for your foot under it, so if you had your stock shifter clocked up one spline, you'll want to put this one down one spline to the original mounting point. 2. This shifter uses a bolt with an 8mm head, where the stock one had a 10mm head. You may want to carry a small 8mm wrench with you in your tool tube. Fir the money, this is a great upgrade that's quick and easy to install and will prevent you having to ride with your foot pointed down at the ground. It's way more comfortable than the stock shifter.
