Useful replacement for a part no longer available from Dyson

The hose is flexible and long (in fact longer than the standard hose for a more recent Dyson model). It arrived on time and the fitting instructions were clear and easy to follow. My only reservation is that it replaced the same third party manufacturer's hose that had split - albeit after several years' use.

Good product all round, though remote buttons are too small

The product has mostly excellent design characteristics and is easy to use. It sits well on a table next to the window and easily fills the room with a draught of air on one of the lowest settings. Parking the remote by magnetism is a good touch. My only reservations: • The manual discourages using an extension lead, but the power lead supplied is only 1.5m, so an extension lead is essential – and works fine as far as I can see. • The buttons on the remote are too small for an oldie like me, and impossible to see in the dark.
