Excellent adaptation!
1 of 1 found this helpful This is the best film adaptation of Austen's book "Emma". The acting, costumes, and settings are all magnificent. Romola Garai and Jonny Lee Miller are by far my favorite Emma and Mr. Knightley. They portray their parts perfectly. Every word and look between the two of them is full of meaning. Also, I appreciate the fact that it is a miniseries, because it provides ample time for the full storyline to take place without many subtractions from the original book.
