Good functioning unit, but not as pictured.

I'm rating the unit three stars for "It's okay". The unit was delivered quickly (in about two days), and it functions just fine (I'm happy with this.) I would have rated it higher, except for the following items: The unit that was shipped is not the unit that was pictured. The unit I received had a (somewhat-soiled) soft accessory-carrying case mounted on top, which was not in the picture. The unit had damage (broken, missing material) in all four corners of the wrap-around portion of the front panel. (See two photos.) The unit was described as, "Item has a minor cracks in the sides", but this is more than minor cracks, and the unit that was pictured does not show any missing material. The unit was shipped with a brand-new line cord, but, unlike the original, the new cord emerges straight back from the socket, which interferes when trying to use the unit standing vertically on its rear feet. I corrected this problem by buying another instrument cord with the cord emerging at a right-angle to the socket.

I'm pleased.

Works as advertised. Sensitivity is just fine, matching or reasonably approximating the manufacturer's claims within my margin of error, as tested using a commercial signal generator. Selectivity and spurious responses are not specified, but I found these to be better than I had expected for this type of product. The manual could have been a bit more verbose, but I found it to be adequate to explain how to set up and use the product. Both the external and internal construction met or exceeded my expectations for a modestly-priced unit for household use.
