AWESOME CASE
This case is quite good and stylish. I specially like the transparent back.

Very restricted by Amazon on app availability.
3 of 3 found this helpful Worst investment ever. The tablet has potential but I came up on a couple of problems.
First one is that it is VERY limited on apps and we know that pass is what makes a tablet fun and productive. I moved from a Samsung tablet to the Kindle and I was not able to download more than 75% of my previous apps unless they were Amazon approved.
Second it is not open source friendly so when I tried rooting to unlock it and put Play Store and it I was successful but then I tried everoot and it bricked it. Now why is open source important? On other tablets you have an open recovery and if you make a mistake you simply go into it and restore to factory settings with your last backup and you're OK.
Bottom line if you just want to do a little reading or just want to pass the time with a couple games then it's probably for you but if you are a very app intense person due to productivity like myself and want that option to install ANY app you want or need then no I don't recommend. Now I am writing this review on my Nexus 10 which even has a higher resolution than the Kindle.
