Good at what it does

This review is simple. On the plus side this phone 1. Has QWERTY keyboard, so if you hate pissing about with tripple hitting buttons to make a single letter like me, that is great. It means, if you can type already you can use this phone to make texts with no extra learning. This is the phones best feature and it is this that makes use the phone. 2. is touhg as hell. I hve dropped mine several times and no problem. This matter, becuase when you text you WILL eventually drop the phone. 3. has a battery that lasts forever. Well over a week with moderate use 4. looks OK. Certainly it does not look seriously outdated. The flip keyboard helps with this. On the downside it does nothing else verty well. 5. The camera is rubbish compared to a modern phone 6. The internet capabilty is unuseable becuase the screen is so small 7. The phone has a tiny memory so you can keep/load very few pics etc. This also seriously limits all its other capbilities. Buy it becuase it is so very good at 1, 2, 3 and 4. oh and becuase you can get it cheaply, but do not expect more, the other functions are just line-items on the spec. sheet, the reality is they are not really functional. Worth it

You will think this is a bit pricey, and it does appear that way. But, the quality is good and there is nothing else out there that does what this does. I have found the dosing capability to be vry acurate and I have now got everything tweaked out. It means that fertilising my lawn which used to take 40 minutes from zero to finish now takes 12 minutes and I have no messing around to do. Well pleased. Go ahead and buy it, you won't regret it.

Arturia 3 compressors, fet-76, tube-sta, vca-65 / License transfer

Superb!

The star of this set is the Fet-76 - it's one of the two best 1176 clones out there (the other one being the Fetpressor by PSP Audioware which is less clean, but really exciting). The Fet-76 brings the material forward and into the room in that lovely "HiFi" way we used to hear in the 70s. It is very fast and so it is perfect as a first compressor in a two compressor chain using fast attack, distant threshold and strong compression. You can then use another Fet, or one of the other two, as a second compressor with slow release, closer threshold and lower compression. Which you use depends on the material and critically how much distortion you want to add. And the thing is boys, these combinations sound wonderful. You will get life, sophistication and controlled excitement into your mixes all at the same time...and everyone will wonder how you did it. This thing is good value at full price. Any discount you get makes it better. Go ahead and buy.
