smooth. light, but powerful.

I have the 2500 EX model and the drag is one of the best I have seen. It is smooth and can go up to 15.4 lbs. Yet the reel is light. I can cast a mile and I never get tangles. This is my favorite reel so far for inshore fishing reds and specks.

It Is a Good Value

It got my filet knives sharp fast and easy. That is what I like about it.

This is an OEM replacement part.

There is not much to say. The original part probably should not have broken so easily in the first place as this was only about 5 years old. Then again, it is a plastic part. It broke when I was using it in cold weather.
