One hour operation then dead

Charged the batteries and mounted the light. It worked for one hour and then would not detect any movement. It appears the timing switch is bad. It only works now on "TEST" mode.

Everything works but hardly any sound co...

Everything works but hardly any sound comes out of the turntable. I thought it might be the stylus so I removed it according to the instructions. When I did, the stylus guide and conductor fell out of the arm and I couldn't get it to go back in. Since I took the stylus off, it is my fault the turn table doesn't work now. Lesson learned!
