Great Camera, Horrible App
1 of 1 found this helpful The camera is great. The D-Link App that supports it is crap, however. If you use the GUI to setup the camera to email you alerts, then you can manage them better than relying on the mobile app to provide you with alerts. The mobile app has a lag time of up to an hour from the actual event trigger....which is pointless if you are using the camera for security or children purposes. You can, however, create event triggers using the URL GUI to send you an email of the event...which again is fine, depending on which application you are using these cameras for. Also, the mobile app has a serious connectivity issue, where the service tries to refresh and looses the signal...which generates a text box that you have to clear to reconnect....ergo, it doesn’t reconnect automatically...its crap...especially if you are trying to use this as a baby monitor, as we were. Great night vision, very clear....the camera is GREAT...the software that you are using, however, has some real limitations, depending on what you are trying to do. Hope that helps, cheers!

Worked as Advertised
Live saver. After electrical surge from downed power lines during hurricane Ida, the NAS would not boot, frantic for data recovery, I replaced the PCB board and it booted right up. Thank you.

Ripped
Great size, seemingly great workmanship, however it ripped down one of the seams in moderate wind conditions of approximately 25 knots. Extrememly disappointing, especially considering the price we paid for the product!
