I have a Sony television, when the original remote stopped working I replaced it with a remote by a different manufacture who claimed the remote would work, while it worked somewhat it soon stopped working. After further research I found this Sony remote which claims to work on all Sony models, and although I did not find my television model on the long list I took a chance and purchased this remote. As soon as I placed the batteries in and used the remote it instantly worked like a charm!
