Great for 2015 F150 with cab height cap
1 of 1 found this helpful This tent was used to take 2 grandkids camping. We stayed in the truck bed, kids in the tent, gear and porta-potti in the screen tent on a standard blue tarp. Worked great! It rained overnight and everyone stayed dry. There was a little water on the tarp in the screen tent, but that was due to the way we set that up. Will correct that next time. The tent is well constructed and the carry bag superb. Like with some luggage, a zipper allows you to extend the bottom of the tent bag an extra couple of inches, so you don't have to get it rolled as tightly as when it was packaged; and it even accommodates the ground tarp. The only reason we don't give this 5 stars, is because the zipper in the main door has a storm flap on it. It's a nice feature, but should be a little longer to prevent it from getting caught up so easily in the zipper. But this is not something that should prevent anyone from buying the tent. The design and construction is excellent!
UPDATE AFTER 2nd RAINY TRIP: Because of the site we were on, we had to set it up a little off center. That puts the drain holes in the bottom section of the boot too high to drain off any rain water that collects there in a heavy downpour. As such, we experienced water in the main tent. So be advised the vehicle MUST be centered properly to allow the drain holes to sit at the bottom center of the boot. Otherwise, in a heavy downpour, the water will roll into the main tent.
