It put a spell on me...

I was somewhat apprehensive about buying this season, because I really liked Shannen Dougherty in the previous 3 seasons and I'm not too fond of Rose McGowan. But I love the show and Holly Marie Combs and Alyssa Milano, so what the heck! The first couple of episodes were so-so, Rose McGowan's acting was less than stellar and seemed forced, but the other actors made up for it with their performances. Eventually, Rose's character starts to blend in and become better integrated with the other characters and she becomes a part of the show. I also really loved the storyline involving Cole, aside from Julian McMahon being a great piece of eye-candy, he's very believable as his character and comes across as both loving and sinister at the same time. Although the 4th season starts off a little bumpy with the death of Prue, it comes together nicely and continues its tradition of great storytelling, comedic moments, and familial bonding that keeps fans of the show waiting for more.
