It does not appear to work even though it does pare with phone.
This device does not appear to have the ability to initiate a phone call. I think it will receive one but have not tested it yet. The biggest complaint I have is it creates significant interference with FM radio.

No WI-FI on Kindle 2
Many sellers are listing the Kindle 2 as having Wi-FI capability. This model does not have WI-FI; that did not come out until version 3. It has USB and 3G only.

Remote does not work after using it for one movie.
Went to use it a couple of weeks after my 1st use and the remote does not work at all. I changed out the battery and this did not work. Unit is very difficult to use without a remote.
