As good as the original, but lots deeper.
You have to watch this film a few times to realize how very good it is. I had seen it in the theater and on streaming television a couple of times before I decided that I had to own a copy. The story combines subtle scenes that relate back to the original Blade Runner and they are easy to miss or misinterpret if only viewed once. The scenes in which the current blade runner engages with the original blade runner are really stunning...there's more than a fistfight going on...you really need to see it to appreciate it.
