A smorgasbord of Richard McKenna's Stories, Essays and selections from his unfinished Novel..

I enjoyed reading most all the stories, sure learned a lot about Naval history & traditions. This book complements "The Sand Pebbles" which when I reread will provide a greater understanding of each of the characters.. Should be on every Sailor's bookshelf..
