Foolproof Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving recipes!! Accidental Turkey, pumpkin pie and pie dough, whipped cream, mushroom leek stuffing, Parmesan crisps to throw in your appetizer plate….everything is pretty straightforward, paired down, delicious recipes you’d expect from something called Foolproof, plus great weeknight / weekend dinners without any confusing “hidden time.” I have looked for a more savory meatloaf recipe before and never found one I wanted to keep making. Meatloaf is one of those things I didn’t grow up eating, and only saw smothered in sugary ketchup, but, as a busy mom, I can now appreciate the idea in earnest The 1775 house’s was slam dunk easy and paired with a salty sweet garlicky sauce (not ketchup) that was perfect for testing a mashed potatoes recipe prior to thanksgiving. That sauce takes a while, but, freezes nicely and the two together make a great winter meal prep with some veggies for those longer work days. Am I making lobster rolls? No, but, that’s because I don’t live in an area with cheap fresh lobster. Everything thing else is absolutely on the menu and, well, Foolproof.
