Its Beauty is Hard to Describe, or Even Convey in Pictures.

This item is truly beautiful. It is based on the 1632 painting 'Christ Crucified' by Diego Velázquez. This is what I said about the Lladro Crucifix to a Catholic friend: "Its beauty is hard to describe or even convey in pictures. It really helps me when I pray to Jesus. I was raised as a charismatic Protestant, and there was a hymn with these words: 'Turn your eyes upon Jesus, Look full in His wonderful face, And the things of earth will grow strangely dim, In the light of His glory and grace.' I am thankful to own this as it has been an effective instrument in enhancing my spiritual life through prayer and meditation, and brings delight to my eyes and heart to contemplate the Death that wrought my salvation and that of the whole world. (1 Corinthians 2:2, Galatians 2:20 - Galatians 3:1)
